Attraction issues

My best friend of 4 years is now my boyfriend. And I can’t help but not find him attractive. I never looked at him that way but our love grew over time and we thought we’d give it a try. I do love him with all my heart and he treats me like a queen, but I don’t find him attractive. I think it’s because we were friends for so long. He goes to school in a different state so we haven’t seen each other in a long time. Should I wait until I see him next month to feel it out and see if I’m physically attracted to him?
