New to ovulation tests

Hello everyone! I was recently diagnosed with PCOS and have been on metformin for about a month now. My periods are always crazy and i never know when to expect them. So i decided today to randomly test to see if I’m ovulating. I know with test, you normally wanna wait for peak ovulation (the test line be darker or as dark as the control line) the test i took today, i THINK is a positive but it’s not as dark as the control line. I’m unsure if it’s positive because I’ve never taken an ovulation test before. Should I still baby dance today? Do i still have a chance? Thank you to everyone and please be kind in the comments!
