I feel sooo bad!

My baby girl was getting fussy so I checked her diaper. She had poop and I’m sure pee and it was pink/red on her vagina area. 🥺 When I changed her she was crying bad till she was red and was shaking in pain. I wiped her gently and put Diaper rash cream I hope it clears quickly. 😓 I feel so damn bad any tips moms? Besides changing diaper more frequently, use water instead of wipes, gently pat dry and add diaper rash cream.
