When to move to donor eggs

After how many years of trying with ur own eggs did u guys decide to move with donor ?

10 years of trying the regular way with OE and IUI and IVF and so many chemical and missed miscarriages. I didn't want to give up hope on my eggs, but time was ticking and about 3 years ago started really sitting down thinking about the emotional and physical turmoil I was putting myself through. Last year really started looking at DE after another IVF failed. Did counseling for a year (still doing it) and now so overjoyed to be carrying my baby (de).

About 3.5 years ago when I was 33 we started trying. We did four IUIs with no luck and then two egg retrievals which resulted in no PGS normal embryos. I have diminished ovarian reserve and another egg retrieval probably wouldn’t have given us any different results. I asked my sister to be an egg donor and she agreed! I’m now 16 weeks.

Tried for 5 years for baby #2 many miscarriages. We tried 1 round of IVF and I got 3 eggs and they were all bad had nothing to transfer we moved onto donor eggs. My donor egg son is now 4 months old best decision ever!

We didn’t even finish a full cycle. We started a cycle but had no growing follicles (and going into we knew this was the most likely outcome - I have premature ovarian failure). So we actually stopped there and jumped right into an egg donor
