How much does your little one weigh?

My baby was born on feb 17th and she weighs 17lbs, she’s way smaller than my first as my first was so chunky. She has a recheck this Friday with her pediatrician because at her 9 month she was about 16ish pounds. What should I expect? Is this something I should worry about?

My 11mo daughter is 16lbs! Has always been in the lower percentile, but is healthy and happy 💕 Some babies are just smaller! As long as your doctor is not worried and baby has enough wet diapers it’s ok!

My 2/21 baby girl is 17lbs 27 inches and is perfectly fine! I’m petite - she’s taking after me. I wouldn’t worry.

My son just turned 1 and weighs 26.5lbs - he’s super tall too...

Your doc will tell you if it’s concerning, but she just sounds petit to me. Cute!!!

It's not so much about the number, but whether they're following their individual curve. If your baby started out at 80th percentile and stay around there until say 6 months and then all of a sudden went to 10th percentile, its worrisome. Maybe ask your doctor why they're concerned and of it has anything to do with their growth curve and a large negative or positive change?

My Lo he was about 20lbs 10oz at last checkup at 9to10 months. He will be 1 on the 8th. He grows more vertically than he does in the waist at this point.
