Have you ever had a prenatal massage? How was your experience?

Tomorrow is my birthday, I’m almost 18 weeks and I’m scheduled for a prenatal massage that’s an hour and a half long. I’m almost worried that it’ll be too long to lay there comfortably. I’d love to hear if you’d had one before and how it went 😊

I go monthly, they pop out the stomach area of the table and the pressure relief of just letting the belly hang feels so good but I am sore for a few days after as she works out so many knots from baby sitting weird.

I had one that was an hour at 10 weeks and I ended up miserable the next few days. I was so sore and it gave me a migraine. I won’t do another one until after baby comes.

Just make sure it's defiantly a pregnancy massage and the person performing it it qualified (has to be qualified for pregnancy massage where I live) and not just a random massage from places in the shopping centre as they can cause more harm then good if they don't know what they are doing.

Best thing ever. I go monthly. Up until I hit the third trimester my lady had some support pillows that allowed me to lay on my stomach. Now I lay on my side but she gives me so many pillows I am soooo comfortable.

I had one in the 2nd trimester and they used a pillow that had a hole for my tummy and it was amazing!! So I could lay on my stomach
