False Positives?

I’ve been using easy@home hcg test strips. They have always been accurate for me in the past stark white bfns. However yesterday 1/11 I decided to take another after getting a bfn with fmu. This was around 6pm: looked invalid to me. 2nd line was a bit faded but it was there so I took a first response right after to confirm and.. NEGATIVE.

I should note it is early I was only 9dpo. Today (10 DPO) and the line is there again. I tested around 6pm again today but when I tested again with the same strips I got 2 negatives.....

Has this happened to anyone else? I don’t want to get my hopes up but it seems like they’re false positives for sure 😞
