How long does breast milk stay if exclusively breast pumping?

I want to exclusively breast feed my newborn because he doesn’t latch at all. I’ll still keep trying every time but how long will my breast milk last? And also how often do I have to do it in a day to get milk supply?

As long as kept in the refrigerator, breast milk is good for up to 5 days. 
You need to pump every 3 hours (8 pumps every day) to establish a supply. After the first couple months, you can start to stretch/lessen pumps, and your supply should remain the same. And stay VERY hydrated!

Eat lots of almonds or drink almond milk!  I felt it made a big difference with supply. Your milk will keep coming in as long as your baby nurses or you pump. You may notice your supply sometime will be less that it had been, but if you increase pumping and nursing it will pick back up. The only signal fir your body to make more milk, is for the current supply to be released. If the supply isn’t released, you body will gradually stop producing milk. 
When my baby was 3 months, I had to travel for work for a week abd a half. I tried to pump as often as I couple while I was gone to try and keep my supply up. By the time I got home, my supply was WAY lower. My son would get frustrated trying to nurse, but after a few days back to nursing and pumping really regularly my supply came right back. The female body is pretty awesome.

Baby’s feed on average every 3 hours some further apart some closer together so try to pump as often as you would feed to build supply. Your milk will last as long as you continue to pump/feed
