Anyone else’s Bub have a True Knot in their umbilical cord?

Our bub was born via emergency c section after her heart rate started dropping drastically with each contraction. After surgery they advised she had a true knot in her cord which they said was quite rare, interested to know if there are other Mummas out there who experienced the same or similar

My daughter kept putting me into labor, finally at 37 weeks they took her by csection. She had the cord around her neck 3 times and a true knot. My dr said she wouldn’t have made it another week in the womb. Thankful everyday for her. She’s 9 now! ❤️

My first born did. They ended up putting in a catheter that would refill my water to keep him floating because he was laying on the cord. They also just taped a monitor internally to his head. The midwife here looks disgusted almost but she was just mid sentence. They were all impressed with the knot. Had him vaginally and now he’s almost 5!

My son was born on due date with a very fast labor and delivery. I had him in the car. When the placenta came out, he had THREE knots in the umbilical cord! The midwife was fascinated and said we definitely would have had a c section had they known.

I had a planned c section with my daughter and she had a true knot in her cord. We had no idea, and it didn't affect her at all which im so thankful for. She is now 18 months and very healthy. I glad I ended up opting for a c section and didn't try to go through labor (it was my second c section) because that may have tightened the knot.
