Crawling?

My son is 9 months old, he will not crawl on all fours. He is only doing and army crawl on his belly. Because of this he can’t get into sitting on his own. If we put him down in sitting he sits very well. 
Is this normal? Are your babies crawling yet?

What the other person said! All babies develop different, mine still army crawls sometimes😂 just keep trying to encourage him to get up on his hand and knees and I’m sure he will either start crawling or go straight to walking😂

Mine had been army crawling for months but literally the last few days she's finally attempting all fours and pulling herself up on furniture. Some babies like to take their time and then all of a sudden can start doing it!

My daughter can sit up fine on her own, but will not crawl. Tummy time just isn’t her favorite. Her pediatrician says she has really strong legs I just need to work with her and show her how to attempt to crawl. I feel bad when I read on how so many babies are progressing so well and my little one isn’t. I just need to have her go at her own pace.

This sounds just like my baby. She won't sit up on her own but sits for long periods of time when placed there. She also army crawls and just started to occasionally get onto knees and elbows and rock.

Mine is not crawling or army crawling. But he pushes up on his arms and when we try to make him stand he puts weight on his legs. So I’m not really concerned. All babies reach these developments at different times. My daughter was army crawling at 7 months and full on crawling at 8. 🤷‍♀️

Babies develop differently. Mine sat before crawling and has been focusing on motor a lot. But because of that she is a little behind I know on speech stuff. Don’t worry your little will get there! It isn’t the linear path of skills that the milestones always make it out to be.
