Lining biopsy and FET next cycle?

Question

My doctor said I can do my FET next cycle and to call when I get my next period. I have a endometrial biopsy I guess to figure out receptivity of my lining at 5 dpo. I read online that it takes 4-6 weeks to heal and delays the FET cycle by a month. My doctor never discussed or said anything to me. So I'm worried he's not giving me the full info. I'm technically not even qualified for a biopsy. He just does it on all his patients. Any insight for anyone who got it for

Hi:) it sounds like an ERA ;endometrial receptivity analysis. Also referred to as a mock transfer cycle. I had mine done a few months ago and I have an upcoming FET. I don’t really see how it could be done on day 5 of a cycle as you typically take estrogen and then progesterone for some amount of time. In total I was on estrogen for at least 18 days and then progesterone for 6 however I have difficulty getting a nice lining. The point of an ERA is to find the right time to transfer-when your uterus and endometrium will be receptive. Usually suggested for those with recurrent miscarriage or in my case, 35 and endometriosis.

I just had an ERA last week!  Just finished my period and currently on BC waiting to get the results.  Then its estrogen patches and Progesterone shots and my FET.  In so nervous and excited!
