Biopsy and FET next cycle?

My doctor said I can do my FET next cycle and to call when I get my next period. I have a endometrial biopsy I guess to figure out receptivity of my lining at 5 dpo. I read online that it takes 4-6 months to heal and delays the FET cycle by a month. My doctor never discussed or said anything to me. So I'm worried he's not giving me the full info. I'm technically not even qualified for a biopsy. He just does it on all his patients. Any insight for anyone who got it for IVF and what happened with your transfers then?
