2 year age gaps?

Mama’s with babies two/two and a half years apart, what was the hardest thing about going from 1 to 2 babies? My little one is 16 months & I’m thinking about trying again soon so she can have a little sibling but I’m worried it’s too soon as she’s still so little. Just wondered what other people’s experiences were✨

Can't say yet what the hardest thing is since I'm only 36w with my 2nd. But I will say that I do feel guilty many times because my son is just so small and I feel like he needed more mommy time than I can give him right now with such a huge belly and all the aches and stuff. He just turned 2 on Dec, so sometimes he does pretty good about understanding what's going on. Baby is not here yet and I already can't do much to spend time with him. He is very attached to me I can't imagine having to tell him to wait or having to in a way ignore him because baby needs mommy too.

My little ones are almost exactly 2 years apart and it’s been pretty fun. My husband (pre Covid) used to work out of town Monday - Thursday and that was brutal. But having him at home, it was pretty easy. One takes care of the baby and the other of the toddler.
The first 3 months are an adjustment.
Everything gets easier after that. Especially after the baby sits up. Game changer
They just turned 1 and 3 and my role has shifted more into a referee than anything else lol
It’s a good gap! But then again, there’s +/- to any gap. I’ve also read that, if the age gap is 2 years and less, the older one doesn’t remember ever being an only child for a bit. 
Another good advice I got: give your attention to the older one first (if both need it and it’s not urgent for either). The baby won’t remember but the older feels the shift in attention
