19 weeks & 2 days: need advice for bleeding.

Hi fellow mommas. Looking for some help since I don’t know what to do.

I started bleeding yesterday around 7 pm. It is now 2 pm and my bleeding hasn’t stopped. Bleeding isn’t heavy (think normal period) and I am not in any pain. I was doing a lot of housework yesterday morning and afternoon, which makes me think I might have overdone it. Husband and I used a handheld fetal Doppler to check on the baby, and the heartbeat sounds strong and steady. (Phew!)

Last time I had bleeding it came with clots which prompted a very expensive trip to the ER. Bleeding stopped by the following afternoon, and my provider said this is normal (placenta sometimes separates from uterine wall).

Also, This is my 1st baby, so I am pretty nervous, but also want to avoid going to the ER and risk exposing myself to COVID. Has anyone gone through something similar? 2nd trimester bleeding is supposed to be pretty rare. Help please. 😢
