Autism?

I’ve gone down a rabbit hole of Google and convinced myself my son has autism.

Let me start out by saying I would love him just the same, I just don’t ever want him to hurt or struggle.

He is a very social baby. He comes to us for attention, smiles and laughs. He babbles and points to communicate what he wants.

He also does some repetitive things like waving his hand (not when saying hi or bye) or hitting his hand against me like when he’s having a bottle, this kind of low groaning/humming when he’s focused on something, and in the last few days started randomly shaking his head.

I don’t know if I should be worried. My doctor at his 12 mo Appt said he was right on track, saw him do these things and didn’t say anything. I am a constant worrier especially when it comes to my and my family’s health. But I guess I’m asking is this is normal or if should be concerned. Please help an anxious mama’s heart.
