Anterior placentas 25 weeks

Hey all!

Okay so I know we don’t get sonograms every appointment especially because of insurance. The ob typically check the heart beat via Doppler and that’s usually the way to ensure baby is okay each visit. What happens though if you have an anterior placenta and they can’t hear the heart beat via Doppler? Will they let it go or will they give a sonogram?
