Is it really bad luck buying for your unborn child?

I’ll be 10 weeks in 18 days! I wanna buy something so bad but I’m so scared.. just going off of what others say & I’m not own to do that but I don’t wanna take any chances with my 🌈 baby☹️😓

I started buying around 8 weeks or so and im now almost 35 weeks along. I don't believe that buying baby clothes will have any influence on the outcome of the pregnancy. Plus personally I found it more comforting to act as if everything was going to work out as opposed to expecting the worst.

No it’s not, do what you want to do. Some people buy early, some people hold off until 12 weeks. There’s no right or wrong. People tend to just hold off until 12 weeks just because being so early anything can happen but as my partner said to me he didn’t want to carry on living in fear. Our aim is a baby no matter what. Do what makes you happy 🙂

A lot of my family is old school and doesn’t believe in buying gifts for an unborn baby!
I went in between and started buying after 20 weeks, that way I knew what the gender was anyways! Good luck!

What happens is going to happen, and buying a toy or onesie won't affect anything. It's so terrifying I cry, but I refuse to not be excited out of fear of another loss. I've already bought a few things at 12 weeks.
