Cats sense early pregnancy ?

So we’ve been ttc #2 for a while now. I’m currently on my tww. My female cat has gotten very affectionate and protective over me. We have a 1 year old husky who jumped up on my lap today. The cat got up from where she was laying, attacked the dog then proceeded to lay down on my belly. Those with cats, how did yours act before you found out you were pregnant?

My cat hated me when I was pregnant and usually I’m the only one in the house she loves. I think she was jealous or something I don’t know.

My cat started avoiding me once I got bfp. So I would say yes. Now she starts melting a bit as her mama stopped activity weird haha

My cat seemed more anxious when I was pregnant with my first. My dog was clingy. The hormones changing could def change our scent or something. They may not know why it’s different but there’s no reason to think the more sensitive ones can’t pick up on the small changes.
