Conceiving after IUD

Hi everyone, I have had the IUD for 3 years and had it removed in Dec2020. When they removed it they discovered it was imbedded in my cervix and right side of my uterus. Trying to conceive now and wondering if the damage from this could affect the pregnancy as I imagine it to have left a hole in me. Has anyone had experience with this? It was a copper IUD and my doctor does not seem concerned. Do you think this could heighten the chance of miscarriage if I have conceived?
