When did you baby start walking independently??

My baby is 13 months old and she walks as long as your give her something to hold on one hand and have done a couple solo steps. She is just so scared of walking by herself. Any suggestions??? Is it normal??

I’ve been working with babies for 10 years and the average age for walking is between 11m-18m 
Don’t stress mumma, they do things when they are ready.
To help aid, make her walk by holding your hands whenever go places instead of carrying her 😊

My oldest didn't start fully walking until 15 months and my youngest started at 13.5 months

My daughter didn’t even try to walk.. had zero interest. One day around 15 months she just stood up and took off! Started with about 5-6 steps and within a mater of days was good to go.

My first started walking at 9 months . My second is only 8 weeks but I hope she starts at 9 months Also

That’s totally normal! My niece didn’t start walking until like 15 months and it wasn’t weirdly late or anything. My two walked at 11 months and then my daughter took her first steps a few days before 9 months (just before Christmas) but isn’t consistently walking yet. Just like a few steps here and there.

My kids were so different. My first was 10 months old when he started walking, 11 months when he started running. My daughter was over a year when she started walking
