My son has a year infection from water getting in his ears from having a tantrum during his routine hair wash at home. And his back molars are coming in. So he has developed a severe case of insomnia that has turned him into a chuckie and I dont mean the one on rugrats lol.

Try lavender oil in his bath and lotion. Dr. Teal has a kids melatonin bath salt that’s great. And if he’s 3+ you can give him melatonin gummies on occasion. There’s plenty of things you can try to comfort him before bedtime. I’m sure you’re stressed but don’t drug your baby, that’s abuse.

Just a tablespoon or two of NyQuil have lead to infancy and child death. Who knows what consequences it has in their bodies organs in smaller doses.

I hate NyQuil for myself, it’s so harsh and makes me feel sluggish so I would never give that to a child lol plus that can be very very dangerous it’s not worth the risk!!! try melatonin drops, it works like magic and it’s much much safer. Speak to your pediatrician about it first ofcourse but I recommend the zarbeez melatonin drops.
