brown blood

hey ladies!

quick question for y’all. I just started using a menstrual cup this is my second period using it and for the most part I’m absolutely loving it! after figuring it how to get it in, I have no leaks and it’s very comfortable for all day / night use!

the only thing that concerns me, is that I seem to have A LOT of brown blood. I know brown blood is old blood, and even blood that has oxidized. I just don’t think i’ve ever noticed it before when I was using tampons! did anyone else notice this when they switched? anything else it could be that I need to be concerned about? it just seems like a lot. thanks!
