Hi Everyone,

Has anyone been diagnosed with hypothyroidism in the second trimester? I’m 26 weeks, and have a tsh of 5.2. My ob has just started me on medication. I’ve been reallllly tired the last few weeks, so this probably explains it.

In the first trimester, my family doctor said my thyroid was fine (tsh was 3.5). Ob said that in pregnancy it should be 3.0 or lower. I’m hoping I haven’t had high tsh this whole time that my family doctor didn’t treat.

Just wondering if anyone has experience with this, and when they started to feel better with medication.
