How do you know if he‘s the one?

ladies, the last few months this question really bugged me- how do you really know that he is the one? 
i‘ve had a few boyfriends and with my first love i really felt „oh he‘s the one“ even though he really wasn‘t. now i‘m in a relationship and i feel like „aw he‘s my best friend“ but idk if that‘s enough.. i always dreamed of being head over heels in love and just knowing in your heart „this is the one, he is my soulmate“ i‘m just obsessed with idea of romance. 
am i expecting too much?
how did you know that he/she was the one? 
i‘d love to hear your experiences 💗

You just know!.
It's a question you never have to ask yourself as you already know.
I love my husband to pieces!. He is my EVERYTHING and my world truly revolves around him.
We celebrate our 12th anniversary this year and he is in my thoughts every single second to this day. I am madly in love with him.
I have never had a single doubt.
I know I will be with him for eternity!.
I know I wouldn't exist without him.
Luckily enough he feels the same way about me!.
This makes me the luckiest woman ever!.
Fairytales are real!. We live one every single day!.
I do not think your being too romantic in that way. That is what you want. 
To us that is real life. Romantic movies aren't just for movies. :).
I am so blessed to have my husband!. ❤️.

I don’t think I immediately knew, because I didn’t realise immediately how good he was for me. 
But I think it was when we went through a rough patch in our relationship that I realised that the idea of losing him genuinely was awful. And we haven’t got that head over heals infatuated with each other kinda passion in our relationship, thats not always how it is. But it’s steady and secure. And I realised that we both might be able to be happy on our own, but actually we do make each other’s lives better and push each other to be better. And it was worth fixing the issues and getting through the 
disagreements for. In other relationships I’d have hit that rough patch and walked away, but not with my current partner.

I know people would look at me weird when I say it because I’m 18 but you do just have that feeling and you never it with anyone else and that’s when you know it’s the one the moment I knew is i had a crush on my boyfriend for nearly two years and he finally spoke to me and the moment I knew he was the one and that he loved me back was a night I was staying at his house and I got a flashback from past trauma in my life and I finally felt comfortable and has trust in someone to tell him what happened and I knew he was the one because I didn’t feel scared telling him and while I telling him he had tears in his eyes as well and straight after he gave me the biggest hug and ever since that day he has non stop helped me with my mental health and it’s the little things as well you start to notice and that makes the biggest difference with someone who you just date and someone who you know is the one I know I’m young and I lot of people tell me I have no idea what I’m talking about but my boyfriend showed me what true love is and I couldn’t picture myself without him you realise they are the one when they are your best friend and boyfriend in one 💗

I feel like you just know. You love and accept their flaws and imperfections rather than trying to change them, you can’t imagine them not being there with you to go through life with, you desire to grow and learn together. But that isn’t something that you just know, in my opinion. You have to experience different stages with that person and challenging scenarios to see how you can handle these situations as partners. It takes time. I love my husband more every day, we’ve been through so much, some good some very bad, but there’s no one else I’d rather battle the storm or share the special moments with. I know I could live without him if it came down to it, but I never want to and couldn’t imagine it really.
