Has anyone gotten pregnant soon after a csection?

Due to our age my husband and I want to hurry to have our last baby... I just had our second baby by c-section 4 months ago.. we were wanting to get pregnant when she is around 9 months. My doctor said to wait until 12 months postpartum if possible but minimum 6 months so we’d be over that at least. Anyone have experience getting pregnant within a year after a csection? Did you have any complications? TY

Making a human is hard and takes a lot out of your body! Like a lot!! There is a reason our elders all got osteoporosis. All their babies took their calcium from their bones. Today we have supplements but babies still take what they need.

I got pregnant 3 months postpartum with my daughter. So far no complications, but I definitely have pain at my scar every once and awhile, but so far we are good.

I got pregnant 9 months after my first c-section. The pregnancy was super painful and my scar hurt a lot but I didn't have any complications during my pregnancy

My sister got pregnant about 6 months after a c section. Once she was in her third trimester it was rough on her. Her muscles hadn’t fully healed yet and as they stretched back out she had significant and constant pain. No long term damage was done, but it was rough on her. Not that this matters, but it took her years to get her stomach pooch to go away afterwards.
