3D ultrasound and anterior placenta?

Question

Just curious if anyone is concerned? I was going to get one around Valentine’s Day for a surprise to my husband, but worried at 30 weeks it may be too hard to tell with my placenta all up front? I am going to ask the ultrasound tech her opinion at my next mfm appointment, but I just started to think about that. Hoping it’s not a big deal!

I have the same thing and my tech just told me to drink ALOT of water before the appointment and the days leading up to it so there was enough fluid.

I’m 27 weeks with an anterior placenta and was able to see my baby girl just fine!

I’m 28 weeks with anterior placenta. Just got a great pic! Doctor said they will do another one when I’m back at MFM in a month.

I have had an anterior placenta with both babies. With my son 2 years ago I got ultrasounds every week due to a high risk diagnosis, my office ALWAYS snuck in 3D photos for me & never had an issue due to my placenta placement.
