Are your babies waving their arms, swatting at toys or grabbing toys yet?

My baby girl is a little over 3 months ( born Oct 12) and she doesn’t use her arms a lot yet. She brings them to her mouth and will grasp your finger/hand sometimes. She also grabs my shirt a lot when breastfeeding. But she isn’t swatting at toys ect. I’m not sure if it’s because I don’t put her under a play gym a lot ( I have a rambunctious 2 year old boy lol) or if it’s a development thing...

My lo is swatting at and grabbing toys. I sit her up on the couch all the time and put toys in front of her. A few weeks ago I started to put them in her hands for her. Then she started grabbing them herself. Some things are harder to grasp than others though. Hanging toys she has a harder time grabbing but she does sometimes, mostly swats at them though.

My Lo was born Oct 14th and swat toys and is works on trying to grab them but isn’t quite there unless it’s a stuffed one that isn’t as structured if that makes sense (ie can’t grab wooden teether toys by himself but he can grab a the quiet books that are squishy). I also have a rambunctious 2 yr old so he plays in his pack and play a lot with a bar across the toys that I can hang toys off of.
