Tampon advice??

Hey y'all!!
I was thinking of trying out tampons for the first time, but not sure where to start or how they even work. I am 22 yrs old, and I've only used pads, and I use the overnight, xl pads cause, I tend to leak everywhere. 
 What are some advice/tips/recommendations for trying out tampons for the first time?? 
Should I start with the light one to see how it goes??? 🤔🤔🤔

Have you considered using a cup? I used tampons for years but found them uncomfortable. I've switched to this and it's SO easy to get in and out! It doesn't hurt and I dont feel it ever! So much less hassle.

This is the brand I've used ever since high school (29 now) I have never had an issue with them and don't have to use a pantiliner either (my flow is normally heavy )

Organic tampons that come in Super for heavier flows and regular for medium-light flows. I’ve been using this for about 2 years and I love it!

I usually go with these. Especially since you are using such a heavy pad. You might want to use a pantry liner with them to be safe.

BEST and safer than most products! It’s all organic!! And they sells each tampon and pad sizes all separately so u can buy to match your cycle specifically! These tampons cause no irrational or discomfort like I would get with products like Tampax. And I used to get horribleeeeeee yeast infections that wouldn’t go away because of how sensitive I am down there, and when I switched to Lola, I havnt had one since!!! I’m obsessed!!
