How often do you bathe your 16 months old?

I bathe my daughter everyday, 2x or 3x a day, every time after poops (lucky she poop only once a day) and I can’t keep her stay still in a changing table or even on the floor 🙄 so she go straight on the tub, she gets busy in the water and I get to clean her there. Then every time after a messy meals.  So, now I worry I’m drying her skin. I moisturize her after every bath up. Now the question is should I put lotion on while she’s in the water or any suggestions so I don’t dry her skin out? Thank you and I’ll appreciates any suggestions

Ur not suppse to give them a bath everyday unless needed only once a week otherwise there skin well dry out

I bathe my Daughter every night, as a working mom that’s how I get to spend one and one time with her and watching her splash around brings me Joy. I think once a day is sufficient for little bodies.

Oh my gosh this sounds like a lot of work! You definitely don’t need to bath her more than once a day. Lots of people do every couple of days. To prevent her skin from drying out put her lotion on as soon as you pull her out of the tub, before you towel her off. Don’t use to hit of water and avoid fragrance in her soaps.

I wash my son in the sink after every poop as well because of his skin, the wipes give him terrible rashes, however las tear when he was a small baby developed eczema on his legs, that when away after few months. This year again he started so I realized it was the water, so be very careful. Las week I tried to use the wipes but putting them on water, for 3 days and his skin definitely improve, so after those 3 days I showered him and went back to washing him 1 day later he was crying from pain he's skin was getting dry again, no this is the longest I have not washing him 6 days plus some cream and his skin is back to be normal his skin is reordered about 99% so I'm trying my best to use wipes and wash them before using them because of the reaction to the formula they use for the wipes, even though he use water wipes still he get rashes from them but the dryness from to much washing was worse, so from now on we are not going to shower as often and washing him less than before.  I was usually showering as needed every 3 p 4 days because I was washing him so often that he was always clean, bit now I have a terrible mom guilt because of his dry skin that I prefer him to shower 1 a week rather than having those painful eczema rashes due to too much washing. In the winter because in the summer the skin take ot without a problem, now actually working on potty training or at least communicate when he needs number 2 so no more need to wash as often.

I bathe my daughter every night. She has dry skin from her eczema (not from bathing, trust me we’ve done the 1x a week before too and her skin is better with bathing every night).
Her dermatologist/allergist both recommended giving short baths (10 minutes long) and then within 2-3minutes of taking her out of the bath we put on aquaphor to keep the moisture in her skin and we don’t dry her with the towel we keep the water on her when we add aquaphor. Works for us! But it’s trial and error for everyone because every baby needs something different.
