Has anyone been concerned about their LO having autism?

My son has a speech delay and has been in therapy for about 6 months. He has been improving but he still doesn’t form 2 word sentences. He only says “scripted things” he will sing a song word of word but won’t ask for water or to eat. There are others signs we have been seeing in him. We’re waiting to have him evaluated for at least another 6 months to see how his therapy goes. Is anyone else going through anything similar?

Our little one was diagnosed with autism a month after she turned 2. She never said anything but “yeah” and she would repeat it over and over again. She has a lot of other autism quirks too. We’ve been in speech and occupational therapy for almost 6 months now and she’s trying to say other words but it hasn’t been easy. She’s doing a lot better though with the OT and will be doing ABA soon. Good luck to you and your family! It was eating at us until we found out and now it’s been easier to accept. We do have really, really hard days though. Hugs to you ❤️❤️

I have autism and I see a lot of traits in my son. I have done ever since he was 9 months old. He's now 29 months and more signs are appearing over the months. However I'm in the uk and they are so shit with the process here. Hes been under the health visitor since he was 11 months old and he wont even get a referral until he's in school at the age of 4/5 and I'm being told to 'ride it out'
