Seems like its already a pretty good price unless the check engine light is on or somethin i wouldn't ask to lower it

Look the car over, only act mildly interested. Take it for a test drive. And literally just say, ‘would you consider $3200’ or whatever you’re hoping to pay. They’ll either say yes, no, or ‘the lowest I could go is $3300’. You don’t need to explain your offer or find fault with the car, just keep it simple and straightforward. Negotiating when buying a big item like that is expected. There’s a chance they priced it expecting someone would try to talk them down a bit. If you REALLY want the car, though. Be prepared to back down and pay full price.

Are you financing or paying cash?

I would go with the others here **

Then I would go off with the other side, check the Kelley blue book value and if it’s in a good range, I would pay it. It’s hard to negotiate at a lesser price point, but you do have cash so you could always offer 3300 cash right now and see what happens. If they say no, take another look around the car and then tell them you understand, you think it’s worth the 3500 and would like to purchase anyway.

Have you checked out the KBB value? I've never negotiated car prices but I would at least check there to make sure the value of the car is the same or at least close to it. If not maybe you can negotiate further?
