UTI and antibiotics (nitrofurantoin )during pregnancy
I developed a UTI earlier this week and went to my OB who prescribed nitrofurantoin. I know it should be safe but I hate the idea of taking medication during pregnancy. I know how necessary it is and how dangerous a UTI can become if left untreated, so I will be taking it for a week as prescribed. Have any of you gotten a uti this pregnancy or in previous pregnancies? With my son I never got one.
