Elective ultrasound
Has anyone had one on top of their dating ultrasound? I had one at 6 weeks and another at 7, but the first one the sac was empty, which was devastating (I lost 3 babies in 2020) and then my second was a blur because of the relief of seeing a blob and heartbeat and it wasn't a very good image at all. I'm 9w5d now and I'm wondering if maybe I should schedule one where we can simply lay there and enjoy seeing our little one. I feel like my family has been very guarded with this baby due to what has happened and there is a livestream option at one place. Maybe it would be a good way for all of us to connect with this baby? But I'm not sure if the doctor will be giving me an ultrasound at my next appointment next week. I don't want to schedule one and then turn right around and have another since they're not recommended all the time. What do you all think?
