Acid reflux meds

Any mamas out there have a babe experiencing acid reflux? My daughter is 7 weeks old and is suffering badly from reflux. The pediatrician said it could be my diet (I love dairy 🧀 ) so I was going to try to clean it up before resorting to medicine but she said it can take up to 2 weeks to see improvement and my baby is miserable now. Does anyone have any insight into the medication she may be prescribed? I’m nervous about giving her anything but we can’t go on like this. TIA 🙌🏻
