Pros and cons of Clomid

I have been ttc for a while and with no luck i am thinking of starting clomid. I have made an appointment with my doctor and our next step is to discuss what treatments we should try! I don’t want to jump directly into iui or ivf and so i am thinking of going on clomid or femara I haven’t had a period in over 6 months now so provera would ideally be my first step.

I am excited and very scared🤞

What are some advice you can give to someone trying clomid/femara for the first time?

Any side effects, any success stories for pregnancy first round?
