What type of birth control can I be on while breastfeeding?

I had a c section a month ago and I was told I shouldn't get pregnant till 18 months.
What type of birth control can I be on?
I use to be on the Nuvaring but it took me 2 years to get prego. I plan to get pregnant at the 18 months.

I went on the Mirena and absolutely love it. Never had any issue with my supply and breastfed my son for 2 years

Mini pill is what my doctor suggested. But u have to be diligent when taking it, like within the same 30minutes window every day

Mini pill killed my milk supply with my first.  I used condoms and fertility tracking...but I also only managed that 16 months before getting surprised 🤣
