Estimating egg collection?

I’ve got a tracking scan on Monday, which is 12 days of taking fertility meds. I’m guessing I’ll be asked to trigger and come in for an egg collection on Wednesday...does that sound right???? I’m trying to work things out for work and my own sanity

I was right about the collection being on Wednesday.  They didn’t tell me how many follicles looked good, but I could see there were a whole bunch measuring over the 20 mark. I’m glad I booked the day off and now I can just be excited/nervous.

That's so interesting.  Everything was planned for my ER.  In fact EVERYTHING has been planned, my ERA and FET as well.  I actually like that since I'm so much of a control freak!  The only thing that gets adjusted along the way is meds.  And my protocols have been spot on so far!

It just depends on how the scan goes. I had an appt on a Thursday and was told by the nurse that she thought I would be triggering the following Sunday/Monday night. Unfortunately when I went in on that Sunday morning, I was told I needed to come back on Tuesday morning. My doc wanted to give a couple extra days for my follicles to grow. I ended up triggering Tuesday evening with my retrieval occurring that Thursday morning. 
I’m a planner so it killed me not knowing for sure but I’m really glad they held out. We thought I’d have 7-8 follicles at the time of retrieval but they ended up getting 14 eggs (I had some hiding from the ultrasound).

When was your last scan?   What was your largest follicle then?    They kept me coming back (daily) until my largest reached 22mm and a few others were very close behind.    He didn’t want to push too much further for fear of natural ovulation. Taking over

I’m took meds for 17 days and the last 5 days was “ok one or two more days” and it just kept going like that until day 17

That’s about what i had. I stimmed for 11 days, took my trigger shot Monday night, then had my retrieval that Wednesday. It has to be exactly 36 hours after your trigger. Good luck! ❤️
