I’m currently 39w2days. On Thursday 1/28 I had a membrane sweep done. Yesterday, Friday the 29th I lost a little bit of my mucus plug and tonight, the 30th, I lost a little more of my mucus plug. When I went in for my sweep, he was still fairly high up and I was in between 1 and 2cm. But my doctor said she was able to do a really good sweep.

Is it good that I’m finally starting to lose my mucus plug? Does that mean labor may start soon?

Otherwise my doctor wants to do another membrane sweep next Thursday, Feb 4th, on my due date to try and get it going. My other child I was induced at 37 weeks, and everything was done for me so I have no idea what to expect. All I know is that I’m fat and sore and ready to be done.
