Officially late with BFN

Hello everybody! I am officially 1 day late for AF with a BFN not even the slightest of lines. I’m feeling a little defeated about it, since I’m never late. With my first born I didn’t get a positive test until about 6wks from my last period. Is it possible this will happen again? When should I try testing again?
EDIT TO ADD... I also spotted for about 3 hours each day the past three days. Very light pink mixed with some CM.
