Roseola?
Has anyone’s child had roseola before? My 14 month old started having a runny nose, watery eyes, light coughing, strained breathing and a low grade fever on Wednesday night. I scheduled a dr’s appt for her for the next day (Thursday) thinking it was an ear infection but she had absolutely no symptoms the next morning. So I called the dr’s office to cancel and they said to bring her in on Friday if she had problems Thursday night. She ran the fever again Thursday night so I brought her in on Friday morning, with symptoms of only a fever. She has not had an appetite hardly at all but is taking fluids okay. They did a flu and covid test and checked her to make sure she didn’t have an ear infection or anything else going on. Flu was negative, all other things were clear, we are pending covid results but I personally do not think she has Covid. Friday she had a decent day but still couldn’t break a fever. Friday night she started having some diarrhea. Saturday morning the diarrhea continued but no fever. Today (Sunday) she’s been SUPER irritable and has a rash on her forehead, belly, neck and back down to her buttcrack. Small, red, slightly raised dots. Not hot, itchy or anything else. Just dots. Everything she’s had happen, sounds like roseola to me. Has anyone else experienced this??
