How much tv does your little one watch per day?

Hello!
My husband and I work from home currently. Our daughter is immune compromised so we are keeping her out of daycare at the moment. Our tv is on most of the day with kid-friendly content. She’s a rambunctious little thing so she isn’t always watching tv, but I’m getting worried that she watches too much. 
If anyone is in a similar situation, I’d love to hear about it!

Ours is on way more than I like to admit. My husband and I both work from home. We try to get in some structured learning time everyday, but TV is on a majority of the time. Mom guilt is real.

Ours is on in the background most of the day with pbs, Elmo, Thomas, etc. He rarely sits and watches for more than a few mins at a time. He’s got lots of other toys going on and mostly plays with those or is on the move. 
Don’t worry too much. This has been a hard year for everyone. We are all doing what we can to get along.

I feel like everyone’s situation is so different that’s this question isn’t valuable. Do what’s best for you and your family.  I never have the Tv on but for me background noise is irritating - I like silence. I put the Tv on occasionally for my son when I need to do something in another room but he doesn’t pay much attention to it unfortunately. We also go out every morning and every afternoon so we aren’t inside a ton to watch TV. 
But if TV is helping you be a better mom then don’t worry about it!!!

My son started talking a lot better when I started limiting tv time.  It made a huge difference for him.  I definitely have the TV on too much and we do have to give ourselves grace.  This also is a crucial time for their development though so I think as long as we're aware and spend the proper time in books and socializing with them it should help balance it out.

I put 0-1 hour, but it really depends on the day. She watches at least 20 minutes per day while I shower. Some days, that's it. Other days, if I'm not feeling well (currently pregnant), I will put the tv on. I just try to keep it minimal, and I know deep down if I have it on bc I'm being lazy or because I really need the help! And mental health counts! I'd much rather have her watch tv than keep it off just for the sake of it and then end up being snappy with her.

I don’t even know what to answer I honestly have no idea lol our tv is on a lot but mainly for my oldest. March LO doesn’t really pay any attention to the tv but he loves to watch kids YouTube on my phone. I’d say he watches maybe an hour or so a day? Sometimes more sometimes less

Our this always on I like having the background noise at least. I’ve found if I put a show  on I like to watch he doesn’t really watch it. If we turn on one of his shows or movies he will watch it. So he probably has an hour to hour and a half (if it’s a movie) that he might actually be watching 🤷‍♀️. We don’t really limit screen time in our house

Right now it’s less than 30 mins a day but we work full time and he’s in day care. When we were working from home in the spring it was MUCH more than that. I’m thankful he’s back in day care because it’s best for all of us!
