I really want to buy a house, but Im only making 12k right now so it'll not doable atm. I also dont want to buy a house in state where I know I wont be living in for long (hoping to move out of state in the next 8 years). I'm still in my early 20s and figuring out how to adult, but I cant help but to dream.

I want a house with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. One bedroom would obviously be the master, second would be a guest room or our kid's room if we ever adopt, and the third would be kinda like my man's den for smoking, gaming, or just whatever he wants to do with the space. The one bathroom would be in the master and the other one would be for guests/potential child.

I want a bench swing on our front porch and a normal swing in our big front yard, where there will be an oak tree or something for shade. In the backyard I want a few big trees two and a garden to grow my fruits and veggies. I want a lemon tree too. I have almost no clue how to garden, but I want to learn to grow my own food.

I haven't got it all worked out in my head yet, but I have a pretty good idea of what I want. At this point I want to design my own home, but it's not likely. I would prefer to be settled in one before the next decade. Whether I buying a home here or the state I want to move to, it wouldn't be more than 200-250k and building your own home has to be waaaaay more than that
