Opinions??

So my period was dec 18 lasted 4 days (normal) I had a positive opk 01/09 missed my period today is cd 45 I tested off the whim for opk yesterday and got a positive 01/29. We did the deed just in case. I started metformin mid cycle before ovulation on 1/9. Did I just miss my next cycle or am I just now truly ovulating? I have pcos but I never miss periods usually my cycle days are 32-38 long.

I contacted my DR. Just waiting on a reply but I’m wondering is someone else has been through this?
