NuvaRing????

Question

So I was on the pill after my son was born but I stopped taking it because I always forgot to take it and it was just a pain. But I’m wanting to get back in BC. I’ve looked at all of my options and this one made me curious. If you have this please let me know the pros and cons of it!!

My mom used the NuvaRing for a while to help regulate her periods. It was easier for her to remember the 4th week to take it out. It helped her a lot. Some side effects could be breast tenderness, fatigue and irritation if used wrong. It is highly effective just like the pill. My doctor who prescribed my mom the NuvaRing also told me that you may have increased discharge because of the thickening of the wall bc of the release of hormones. I just started the NuvaRing a week ago. Even though I'm new to it, I trusted what my doctor and mother told me about the ring. So far I believe it was a great choice for me. Solely because I was having missed periods for 2 months at a time. Some pros: helps with acne and fights off ovarian cancer. 
Fatigue varies among different women. I know Eve does have a whole list of the descriptions of birth control types

I love it. It’s so convenient. At first it made my cramps worse and I only had irregular bleeding for one month. But as my body got use to it (first time being on birth control) I don’t get any cramps any more, I know exactly when I’m suppose to get my period and I don’t have to remember to take a pill everyday. No weight gain too! If it’s in right you don’t feel it at all! You can leave it in during sex but I prefer to take it out and then put it back in when I’m done. You can leave it out for up to 3 hours until you have to insert a new ring. If you have any more questions I’ll be glad to answer them☺️
