Hi everyone,

My 7 week old has reflux he falls asleep amazingly in our arms but when we lay him down in his crib he's wide awake. We put him down as gentle as possible keep our hands gently on his arms because his arms shoot up when you put him down which wakes him ( this works majority of the time). Any tips on getting him to fall asleep by himself?

He's reached a stage where he is incredibly fussy this includes when he's feeding. (worse when he'd got acid coming up) we also feed him sitting up due to reflux and keep him in an upright position for the recommended 30 minutes.

We tried swaddling but this made him worse and I've read its best to stop at 8 weeks anyway so there's no point carrying on trying with that.

We also have a ollie the owl that plays lullabies or white noise it has a cry sensor so when he is asleep it helps him settle if he starts to wake. (obviously not when he's due a feed)

Any tips we could try would be greatly appreciated x
