Infant daycare

Anyone else planning on putting your infant in daycare? Or if you have an infant in daycare, what was your experience? How did you afford it?

We don’t have any friends or family that can watch baby, and with hubby in school full time we will need to put baby in daycare after my maternity leave. I’m worried we are going to be stretched financially... plus I’m of course nervous in general about putting our young baby in daycare.

Just curious what everyone else’s experiences have been? Or any tips on things to look for when touring daycares?
