Ivf w endometriosis

Hi everyone,

Anyone had ivf success despite endometriosis?

I am starting the downregulation for my first ivf cycle. However, I am a bit concerned. I've been clinically diagnosed with endometriosis. Didn't do lap. But all symptoms match to a t. And tomography also showed endo signs. So I think the diagnosis is correct. Before being referred to ivf, I've been offered lap, which I refused. My line of reasoning is that lap is invasive, painful, only offers temporary relief of endo (it will come back) and not guaranteed to lead to pregnancy. So if I'm going for something invasive and uncomfortable, I'd rather go straight to ivf. That proved to be good, because after that they started investigating my husband and found out he had low number, poor morphology and motility.

But now that has been gnawing on me... I know ivf is the recommendation for severe endometriosis. But I'm afraid that the endo may affect implantation success.

So I'm looking for success stories to comfort me. Anyone?
