‘Stubborn’ eggs?
I had my egg retrieval today. Afterwards, I was told that they had to adjust the procedure because the eggs were being ‘stubborn’ and they had to puncture the follicles and ‘wash’ them. I’ve been trying to find out what that might mean. I also only got 6 eggs, which, given that I (supposedly?) don’t have any fertility issues, and we were tracking 12-15 follicles, is disappointing.
