Am I being hormonal & womanly to understand this or what is my problem with this statement?

This guy said HE DOES want us to be together in an exclusive relationship. He’s immature (OBVI). Am I being overly offended? Do I need to reevaluate? I want us to be able to talk to each other about anything & everything. He’s got child custody stuff he’s stressing over & YES, I’m on my period & raging...
