Help!!

On 12/29 i had a positive pregnancy test. Days later i had a regular period. No blood work was done but my Ob nurse told me it was a false positive. Yesterday 2/2 my period was due, I’ve been feeling a little off so i took a test and it was positive. I had blood work done and my HCG level was at 35. She said it was either a miscarriage (I’m not bleeding) or the start of a new pregnancy. I go tomorrow for more blood work. Has this ever happened to anyone else?
